RIM just announced OpenGL ES support for the BlackBerry platform, which will finally bring 3D graphics acceleration to the push-emailing smartphones from RIM. EA Mobile showed off their Need For Speed: Shift 3D game on the BlackBerry Storm2 and we had a chance to go hands-on with the game. This is just a preview of Need For Speed: Shift. The game is still in development, but hopefully well see it soon....

(watch 2nd attemp instead: youtube ) kinda almost worked - need to sync the start better. The nexus version loads alot quicker. so just hitting start on both at the same time doesnt work, had to pause the nexus and wait for the N8 to catch up. in game performace seems identical though....
