In MGS3, theres mushroom thatll give you food poisoning, and that is the Fly Agaric. When hungry soldiers eat it, they die. There are other poisonous stuff in the game too, such as Poison Dart Frogs, or throwing a Scorpion at them will poison them, and theyll eventually die after a while....
